Do You Need a Data Acquisition System?

data acquisition system

Whether you need some physical conditions measured, and the sampling be converted into digital values and brought to a computer screen, the answer is: yes, you do need a data acquisition system. There is always the old-fashioned way, to measure these physical conditions and write them all down onto a piece of paper, then scan this raw data or place it into an excel table, but that way is nowadays obsolete and extremely inefficient. You need to assign one extremely meticulous employee to do this work, and have to reread through whole stacks of paper to find that one piece of information you need. Instead, when a new prototype is being under development, or you are only starting the whole project itself, as much brainpower as possible should be addressed to problem-solving, and developing the prototype itself, not to acquiring heaps of measurement data. This whole job of automating your data acquisition can be left to machines and data logging software, while you are bringing your prototype from your mind into this world.
This is where ReadyDAQ can prove to be of utmost assistance. Our software and our data acquisition devices, which are all fully operational under National Instruments hardware, are able to assist you on your next breakthrough. Whether your prototype is only at the beginning of its journey, or your products require more development to enter the next phase, we have you covered. The efficiency of your team improves drastically when you opt to use our equipment, there is little to almost no time being spent on compiling raw data, and best of all this whole process can be done automatically, almost at the press of a button. Our automation and data acquisition systems can help you develop solutions faster, become more efficient, and can support your research take less time and resources than without our systems.
Moreover, we have recently gained a National Instrument Alliance partnership certificate. What does that mean for our customers? Well, this certificate ensures the success of the project at hand, and gives an option to integrate complex projects into automation and data acquisition (daq) systems. Furthermore, it ensures risk mitigation – you, our customer, is able to use National Instrument tools more effectively, with project development in mind. Also, our customers are open to the option of getting local support to help with carrying out one part of the project or, if the customer wants to, managing the whole process. Ultimately, our customers can be confident in developing solutions regarding their project faster, and with in-depth expertise.
As the world needs further development, engineers, scientists and constructors need support in their work. ReadyDAQ provides the necessary support of daq software, and exercises a great impact on the reduction of costs and required time to get the project up and running. The best thing? You can try it for yourself, free of charge!

Why Automate Your Industries? 3 Major Reasons!

labview based project

Let's accept the fact that with every technological development that takes place, it's major focus is improved efficiency, cost cutting and better output. This is the major reason we are focused on the implementation of latest solutions for our businesses. An increasingly popular term that we come across is automation. And rightly so, it is the thing of the future which is slowly connecting all the aspects of industrialization. The process of automation, although a long one, can be easily implemented using the perfect blend of software and hardware. But what is it that makes automation our priority? Let's have a look at the three most important reasons behind this transition.

Filling the gap between supply and demand: We have to agree that with the ever increasing population, all the industries are always under the pressure of fulfilling high demand numbers. To tackle this problem, automation is an absolute necessity since it has helped increase the output multifold. This increase in the produce has also led to lesser wastage and optimum efficiency.

Accuracy: Okay, let's just accept the fact that machine made material is better and precise when compared to the human hand. While more and more industries are making the shift to the automation technology, it is to be noted that their output has increased when compared to human support.

Cost cutting leads to increased efficiency: An automatic machine equals a hundred men. Well, even though this number might be accurate it is safe to say that a machine can give output which equals a lot of manpower. This not only saves money due to less investment in terms of salaries but also saves production time. Testing is easier and simplifies the production process.
So when we look at these factors, we realize how important automation actually is. But, as we mentioned before, complementing software is very important for such hardware and that is where ReadyDAQ jumps in. High end machinery makes use of a lot of operational devices and so ReadyDAQ (data acquisition system) offers a development solution for all its software needs without actually having to start from the scratch. Supporting simultaneous operation of multiple devices, it is the perfect solution for all industries trying to implement automation and it's components. So, what are you waiting for? Internet of things: an Irrelevant Watch or a Valuable System?

labview daq

The Internet of Things, or the IoT, is a fast growing business, predicted to be worth over 1.2 billion by 2020. But as more and more people are buying into this system, so are more and more people shifting away from the Internet of Things. Some just don’t buy the products and some take off their Fit-bits and smart-watches and put them in a drawer. But this might be the wrong decision. The ever-expanding industry has a lot more to offer than we see on the surface.

Some of the perks come from the invisible and invaluable data that is collected from these devices. Collecting vast amounts of data is immeasurably useful: not only to companies and businesses but also to the individual. It may not be apparent when you first buy your Fit-bit, but the data that it collects (and which you can then see later on your computer, smart phone, etc) can be utilized for multiple purposes. The company gets to track the data and create a better picture of the world, understanding the fitness of its customers, creating better products for them in the future and providing health statistics for doctors and researchers. But this data also allows the individual to understand him or
her-self and make changes accordingly, improving quality of life, health, etc.

On a larger scale, the IoT is very important in larger industries and businesses. Take for example a hospital, which uses the IoT to monitor its medical devices. Not only does it get data on what works, doesn’t work, which devices are more efficient or less, but it allows the staff to be immediately notified if a device fails in any way. These life-saving technologies are applicable to a simple home as well. Imagine a baby onesie which monitors the child’s heart beat. Irregularities alert the parent to the dangerous situation and the device will make an automated call to 911 in an emergency. The IoT might just save a few lives.
The IoT provides what our world is striving for: efficiency, comfort and responsibility. A good example is one of the most popular products, now entering multiple homes is Google’s Nest: a smart-thermostat which allows the occupants to remotely change the temperature in the house. It is easy to use, needing a quick turn of a dial or a simple phone application (comfort), it allows you to change the temperature remotely, for instance on your way home from work, so that it is your ideal temperature when you arrive (efficiency), and allows you to turn off wasteful resources while you are away (responsibility).
So don’t throw away your Fit-bit, think about trying ReadyDAQ( labviewdaq)and don’t discount the Internet of Things. It is the new best thing and it can improve your life as well as the lives of those around you.

ReadyDAQ: Perfect for Automation in Industries!

lab view software
We live in the time where the world is progressing at the speed of light. With a vast array of technologies such as the internet of things and automation taking over our everyday life, we need to understand what is bringing about this change and why it is necessary for our current and future generations to grow and develop. As a majority of us strive to provide the very best and innovate new concepts which help make our life easier, we also leverage the technology which opens doors to a completely new set of prospects.
But when we talk about automation, what is it that we need to know? Have you ever wondered how these factories manage to cope with the high demand that the current population has? How can the efficiency be optimized to increase produce without affecting the quality? Well, automation is the answer to these questions.
The population is on the rise and this leads to excessive demand for everything. With the machines taking over the human hand, the work has been simplified. Not only has this increased output, but has also led to new concepts taking over the market. Industrialization will only grow if we make good use of the technology available to us. This includes machinery and high end devices. But, these devices can have the best hardware available to us, yet they will need software to drive its operations and processes. This software needs to be optimized to make the best of the device. But with so much focus on developing the device, do we do justice to the software development? If we do, is it required?
Well, the answer to this question is ReadyDAQ! ReadyDAQ, a LabVIEW based software, is the solution to all your software development needs. It allows you to focus solely on your product and leave the software worries to us! With multi device support, it can drive almost every operational DAQ device including motors, sensors and pumps. Industries are on the verge of a technological transition supported by automation and ReadyDAQ makes it an efficient choice! So why worry about the software when you have ReadyDAQ!
